An investment worth being maintained

The GEOCHRON Global Time Indicator is designed to last for ever, provided regular maintenance visits – at least, every 5 years. 

A maintenance visit consists in disassembling and cleaning internal components, to eliminate all dust accumulated years after years on filters, map, motors and other driving mechanisms. The GEOCHRON Global Time Indicator thus recovers its original brightness which otherwise tends to gradually shade off, without you even noticing it. Also and above all, these visits are intended to avoid serious damage to the fragile mechanisms, resulting in costly breakdowns and in having to change some components.  

Your GEOCHRON represents an important money investment. A maintenance visit is currently invoiced 200 € (plus cost of parts which may have to be replaced). This expenditure is equivalent to a provision of only 40 to 50 € a year ! So, don’t save on maintenance visits.

You will thus have the possibility of transfering it later to your children or grand-children, just like any valuable furniture or painting. Think about it !

After sale service

 

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have a technical problem. Never try to disassemble your GEOCHRON yourself. It will most probably worsen the problem and lead to a more expensive cost of repair.

The only operation that you can handle yourself at no risk is to change the fluo tubes and starters, by accessing the light drawers located below the GEOCHRON. These lighting elements are normal wearing parts, with a lifetime that can range from a few months to several years (see their reference in the service manual).

When sending us your GEOCHRON for repair or maintenance:  

Pack it carefully, if possible using the original GEOCHRON packing system, to     avoid damage during transport (see packing tips).

Warranty

 

Warranty (parts and labour) applies over a period of :

-       12 months following your initial purchase

-       6 months following a maintenance visit or repair (warranty covers repaired or replaced parts)
